Is Formula1 the most rigged sport?

This is in reaction to the comment made by a friend of mine that the Formula1 racing is the most rigged sport. Before making such allegations one has to look into certain factors regarding professional sports in general.
Every sport federation/council/organisation provides funds to teams which find them in a difficult position to compete against the mightier ones.FIFA provides a hefty sum to nations, including india, where soccer has only a few takers. So does the ICC.How else could teams like Papua New Guinea or Cayman Islands play cricket? We have Major League and Minor League Baseball in the US which as the name implies is seperated in terms of the money involved. This does not mean the results of the matches are fixed or the sport concerned is rigged.
If the Formula One Management is putting up a show on TV, do anyone have answers to why a cricket match which could have very well ended at 35 overs is stretched to the 48th over without dismissing the tail enders?Or why a World Cup football final is projected as a tussle between Nike and Adidas rather than Brazil and Germany?
There are a lot of things at stake as far as any professional sport is concerned.Organising a sporting debacle is not the easiest job on earth. In the end everyone has to come out with smile on their faces. This may include the federations, corporate honchos, television moguls,players,coach/managers and finally the spectators. One must not forget that it is the popularity of the sport that brings in the money, not the sport itself. One can either be content with this or resort to lesser known sports.Even then I doubt if it will be free from sponsors and others who are have vested interests other than the sport.

How much ever as i agree to your comments I am not sure of any other popular sport which would have a husband & wife dominating the proceedings for so long. Car racing is naturally interesting to men & here we have some well organized entertainers.
